Mach-E, A New Member of Mustang Family

Mustang Mach-E, as the first electric vehicle model since Ford announced its entry into the electric vehicle market, was named by Ford after its world-famous large-displacement muscle sports car "Mustang" series, which shows Ford's confidence and expectation for this electric vehicle model.

Appearence

In terms of appearance, Mustang Mach-E continues the classic design language of the Mustang series, which uses a raised hood and exaggerated body head lines to show its wild stance as "Mustang". Ford uses a new headlamp unit on the Mach-E, with its daytime running lights consisting of three lamp posts, which increases vehicle identification. The rear of the Mach-E resembles the rear of an enlarged Mustang sports car, which has a larger and more exaggerated taillight and factory rear surround than the latter. In addition, the Mach-E is designed entirely with a slip back, which increases the curvature of the back of the vehicle and enhances the sporty appearance of the vehicle. This approach is very rare in SUV models, and I believe Ford chose to do so in order to highlight Mustang's family design language on the Mach-E. The Mach-E has a moderate size. As a medium-sized SUV, the Mustang Mach-E has an aspect ratio of 4739/1881/1621 mm and a wheelbase of 2984 mm.

Interior & Technology

In terms of interior, Mustang Mach-E performed poorly. Like most other electric vehicles, the interior of the Mach-E is relatively simple. It mainly consists of a 15.5-inch central control screen and a 10.2-inch all-LCD dashboard, which does not bring enough novelty to consumers. However, the strength of Mach-E in terms of software and hardware can definitely make consumers shine at the moment. Mach-E is equipped with Ford's latest Co-Pilot 360 driving assistance system, which can cooperate with the 6 cameras, 5 millimeter wave radars and 12 ultrasonic radars mounted on the vehicle to realize up to 26 driving assistance functions.

Power

In terms of power, the Premium version of the Mach-E with standard battery life has a usable battery capacity of 70 kWh, with a range of 247miles, and the motor can provide 266 horsepower, enabling it to accelerate at 0-60 miles per hour in 5.8 seconds.

According to the data provided by the current car manufacturers, the Mach-E excels in the endurance and power of electric vehicles with the same price. However, whether it can take over the baton from Ford Mustang and continue to exert its power as Ford's main model depends on the feedback from its users in the subsequent market.
